| ProjectA successful IT-consulting company headquartered in the U.S., looking for a talented system software engineer versed in Unix (for example: Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X) kernel, kernel utility software and user-space system programming (C, C++). A first project slated for this position is porting to Mac OS X enterprise-grade system security software product, comprised of kernel level and user-space level components distributed over a network of Linux, Windows and Mac OS machines. Further large, new projects will involve adding support for new OS versions, developing product enhancements and features, and so on.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and supporting a complex system software product, including the following typical tasks and responsibilities:- Porting kernel and user-space components from Linux to Mac OS X, and transitioning to new Linux and Mac OS X versions.- Designing new security mechanisms based on customer requirements- System performance profiling and optimizations- Bug fixingJob RequirementsExperience as a developer involving any Unix (such as Linux, FreeBSD, or Mac OS X) kernel and user-space system programming.Skills- C, C++- Proficiency in Unix kernel internals and system architecture concepts- Advanced Unix (such as Linux, FreeBSD, or Mac OS X) user- Proficiency in Unix/GNU development tools and environment (GCC, binutils, shell utilities and scripting, Makefile, etc.)- English: Written technical (ability to read, write reports and email correspondence on technical/programming topics)Technical Skills/Experience:- Computer Science or equivalent education is a plus- Objective-C, Assembly is a plus- Mac OS X programming exposure (Xcode, Cocoa, Carbon, KEXT) is a plusJob conditions Stable salary Medical insuranceРезюме на eermolaeva@ge-hr.ruICQ 579800208
